Fall Fun

This morning we went apple picking at Huber's orchard in Indiana. It was the perfect weather for it! We picked Fuji apples... and MY were they good! They were so crisp and sweet and delicious!! Aaron is not a big fan of apples... but even he enjoyed munching on a couple while we picked.

Of course Jane liked them too!

In the evening, we went to a German Octoberfest where we enjoyed Bratwurst, German potato salad and sauerkraut.... it was fun but SO COLD and WINDY!! It's definitely fall here in Louisville!

Brandon said...: AH!! She is SO cute!! I wish I could have been there... although I can't eat apples yet, Oct 12 and I will be free to eat what I like. I still can't get over how cute miss Jane is!

my favorite things...

.... i love driving to no where with the windows rolled down; feeling the wind in my hair...sipping a cold coke... i like to lay on the roof and watch stars... i enjoy playing piano and singing worship songs.... i like curling up on the couch on a rainy day with a good book and a blanket....i like roasting marshmallows.... i love Texas, and i am a Texas-Girl at heart...i love the smell of rain, and freezers.... i like riding the unicyle... i love a good bonfire......i like singing at the top of my lungs with the radio... and baking cookies just so i can eat the dough.... i like walking hand-in-hand with my husband... i love laughing.... i still enjoy catching fire-flies in the warmth of a summer evening... i love a good long chat with a old friend....i'm fond of the color purple.... i adore the silvery sound of my sweet Jane's giggles... i like the word, "moist" but i don't know why... i love sitting on the porch during a good thunderstorm.... and late night conversations under covers in the dark... i like being bare-footed, and i like the noise it makes when barefeet walk across tile...sorta, stickyish. i enjoy munching on a big cup of ice... i love the luxury of sleeping in... mmm....chocolate.... I love holding my precious children when they sleep. my favorite sound in the whole world are the words "I love you" coming from my husband.... i still like snuggling up with my two sisters and my mom to watch a good old movie.... i like painting my toenails in the sunshine...and looking for shapes in clouds. I love it that my boy has his daddy's brown eyes. i enjoy looking back and seeing how far the Lord has brought me over the years.... i like looking up at Aaron....in fact, i just like Aaron. i love looking down into my baby's eyes. i love watching Jane's excitement as she discovers life and creation afresh...and i like the little noises my children make when they're asleep. I love sweet Jane kisses. i like being alive....
