Of course Aaron was interested in checking out Schwab's smoke shop and a gun store. Then we had lunch at a local diner called, "Ramseys". The outside of the restaurant didn't look like it was anything special, but we'd read some great reviews so we were optimistic. We were not disappointed! The food was fabulous!
After lunch we went to the Old Kentucky Chocolate Factory and sampled some delicious treats while we wandered through their giftshop. We were hoping to get a tour of the factory, but unfortunately got there too late in the day :o( At least we each got a little bag of hand-picked chocolates which we get to savor throughout the week!
Then we stopped into the mall (supposedly the biggest in KY... though we weren't too impressed with it) to window shop and enjoy the lovely AC and a sonic drink.
We took the scenic route back to Louisville, and as we were driving along, we randomly spotted a castle!

The drive home was delightful! We really enjoyed the gorgeous Kentucky countryside, and all of the horse farms.

It was so beautiful that parts of the country looked as though it shouldn't be real... It was so picturesque.... just like a painting...
