When Aaron's friend Jeremy came over, he asked me, "so.... how far along are you?"
I replied, "34 and a half weeks" there was a thoughtful pause.... and Jeremy sheepishly asked, "um... could you translate that into man terms?" I smiled and said, "Lord willing, the baby will be born in about six weeks." :o)

Seven Months
My little two year old neighbor came up to me and very "slyly" bent over just to try to look up my blouse (which was sticking out, like the above picture) .... I told him, "Aw...Micah, you can't see the baby that way.... you'll get to meet her in a couple of months though!" I thought it was cute that he thought he might be able to sneak a peak at the baby in my tummy!!

Our Little Girl

I had another ultrasound this morning... and here is a picture of our Baby Girl's face. Can you see her chubby little cheeks and her cute little chin??
(If you're having a hard time seeing it, her head is laying sideways facing up, the top of her head is toward the right side of the picture, and her chin is closer to the middle left side of the picture)
There were two things I was excited to know from the ultrasound 1) was she still in the breech position, and 2) was she still a girl??
Praise God, our prayers have been answered and she's turned around so that she is not breech anymore!! (now hopefully she'll be comfy and stay that way...)
Also.... she is definitely still a girl. I was going to post a picture of the "evidence"... but Aaron thinks it's not "appropriate" for public viewing. He wants to honor her modesty.
I can hardly wait to meet her and kiss those cute little cheeks!!

expiration dates
Last night Aaron and I were in the kitchen making Thai beef noodle soup, and we noticed that the bag of bean sprouts we had purchased that afternoon was two days past it's expiration date. Of course we were miffed that we had not checked the date before buying it, and I said, "Well... I guess that teaches us to be more careful about checking to make sure things are not past their due date when we buy them!" He heartily agreed.
....about two minutes later, I stopped and looked at Aaron and said, "Wow.... did you hear what I just said? I called the expiration date a due date!!.... I think I've been pregnant too long!!" He laughed and said, "You know what's even funnier? It sounded so normal that I didn't even notice!"
