My dear friend Kristen found out just three weeks ago that her husband was promoted, and that they would be moving immediately. He started his new job four days later in Arkansas. We are excited about his promotion, but terribly sad about the move. Kristen one of my closest friends here, and will be deeply missed. And that is a severe understatement.
We're all in a state of mourning.

I have a dear friend that I met before Rachel was born. She lives in Ohio and we've not seen one another for probably 16 years...but we still pick up the phone a couple of times a year and yak for hours on end.
We have a history.
Now it seems so odd to be old grannies together.

Jenny, I'm so sad that we had to leave you and your sweet Jane! I will miss you tremendously - I already do! Josh and I went to Sam's today and Abbey rode in the double-seated cart and my first thought was "How sad that Abbey won't be riding double with Jane at Cosco."
I miss you bunches but it was so good to talk yesterday!

Never mind, it loaded this time and I burst into tears when I saw it...
