Ultrasound

In these pictures baby is kind of looking up at you. A tad bit freaky since you can only see his bones. You can especially see his left eye in the top pic!
These last two are profile pictures of his head... you can kind of see his arm up by his face....he's was punching me. No. Really. He was.

Mmm...blueberries!

Jane is getting her molars in, and the process has been long and painful.... for all of us! One of her favorite treats to eat is frozen blueberries. The cold numbs her hurting gums and of course the flavor is delightful... as you can see. Only problem is that she has a blue mouth and hands all day! (but who cares)

The new addition

So we've added a new addition to our bedroom: a step stool to make it easier for me to get in and out of bed! I'm definitely starting to feel like I'm really in my third trimester now. Regular everyday activities (such as getting in and out of bed... bending over to pick things up... etc) are becoming increasingly difficult! I'm thankful for slip-on shoes, step stools, a patient husband
and nausea medication!

Abortion: A Matter of Life or Death

Please take the time to watch this tear jerking video created by Casey Cashell to encourage members of our church to participate in the "Speak for the Unborn" ministry... Every Saturday morning Christians gather in front of an abortion clinic here in Louisville to plead with the girls going in to not kill their unborn babies...

Adoption

There are many families in our church here in Louisville who have adopted children, or are actively going through the adoption process right now. Here is a link to a touching video created by Casey Cashell as a tribute to all of the orphans in the world, and the families in Immanuel Baptist Church who are living out the gospel by bringing orphans home!

Immanuel is Adopting!

Some friends of ours who have also adopted and created this website as a resource to support and encourage families who are either thinking about adopting, have adopted, or are going through the long process of bringing their children home. Check it out!
